California Rural Legal Assistance Foundation recognizes that many of the serious problems our clients faced in the previous Trump administration are likely to reoccur, and possibly become more aggravated because of the new Administration’s apparent commitment to carry out wholesale deportations of undocumented people who have strong ties to our communities, no criminal histories and a desire to achieve the American dream.

We are committed to defending the rights, dignity, and humanity of immigrant families and are ready to face the upcoming challenges with the same strength, power and resilience that farmworkers, low-wage immigrant workers, and mixed status families have faced adversity.

As a statewide legal support center, CRLAF's field experts will continue to inform community members about their rights and defend against anti-immigrant policies and other unjust laws with unwavering resolve to defend and uplift legal protections surrounding labor, education, health, housing, immigration, and environmental justice.

We stand firmly with the communities we both serve and are a part of, partner organizations, legal aid providers, and other advocates to continue fighting for family unity, community protections, inclusion, justice and equity.
