All of CRLAF's services are free to community members most in need, and accepts no government funding that inhibits our ability to serve our clients. We rely on the compassion and generosity of people like you.

Planned Giving

Planned giving is a powerful tool. When partners decide how their money will be used after they’re gone, it’s a final statement about their philosophies and beliefs. In the end, it’s about the legacy they choose to leave behind.

Additionally, there are immediate benefits of some planned giving options. Through a planned gift, partners may:

Increase their current income or that of a designated beneficiary;

Reduce income tax liability;

Avoid capital gains tax; and/or

Pass assets on to family and pay less tax.

Types of planned gifts include: Gifts by Will, Gifts by Revocable Living Trust, Gifts by Charitable Annuity, Gifts b y Charitable Remainder Trust, Gifts By Life Insurance.
